The Sant’Elena mineral spring in Chianciano (1 kilometer from the hotel)

The spring is situated on a hillside 550 meters above sea level and is surrounded by parklands of ancient oaks, stately cypress trees and silver leafed olive trees which together form an oasis of peace and tranquillity.

The grounds are protected from the wind and the climate is particularly agreeable. The views are magnificent, stretching as far as Mount Amiata and the lakes of Chiusi, Montepulciano and Trasimeno.

The Sant’Elena mineral water source is close to the ancient Chapel of Sant’Elena from which the water takes its name. The people of Chianciano and the nearby towns have enjoyed the medicinal benefits of the water since ancient times.
