Mountain Bike Tour
Our mountain bike excursions will help you get to know the surrounding countryside with time to stop and taste delicious food and wine including the well known Brunello di Montalcino wine.
Next stop at a dairy to make your acquaintance with the “Pecorino” cheese of Pienza, and last but not least a visit to a local honey producer.

Valdichiana Golf club
The course has 9 holes and professional teachers are on hand to give lessons to beginners or those wishing to improve their technique.

Happiness is a game of tennis
For lovers of the game, the hotel has an agreement allowing guests to choose between a variety of tennis courts in the area.

Shopping
Thanks to its position in the centre of the town, the hotel is perfect for shopping sprees.

Art, Music and Culture
Important towns such as Siena, Florence, Assisi, Perugia, Arezzo and smaller but no less important centres like Pienza, Montepulciano, San Quirico, Montalcino and many more are within easy reach by car. Excursions can also be organized through local travel agencies.
During the summer months concerts and dancing are organized in the town squares, the Fucoli Park and the Sant’Elena spa.

For Cinema aficionados
In the main piazza, just a short distance from the hotel, is the Garden Cinema where films will be shown in the evenings.

Archaeology
The Valdichiana area has been inhabited for thousands of years, and the many remaining traces of ancient civilizations are of great archaeological and anthropologic interest.
There are numerous museums in the area and the Museo Civic Archeolgico delle Acque in Chianciano houses many Etruscan artefacts from two necropolis, the remains of a temple and a farm as well as those found at the site of a Roman baths.
The Museum is situated at the beginning of Via Dante, close to the old town.
